Mary Marg Helgenberger is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was November 16, 1958. The 1980s saw her begin her professional career, and was recognized for portraying Siobhan Ryan in the daily soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. Her most well-known part in the show is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a TV series that ran from 2000 through 2013, and Immortality the TV movie which was released in 2015. Vegas (present-day) was the sequel to the original. Helgenberger was also well-known for his performance as K.C. Koloski in China Beach, an ABC series China Beach (1988-91) which brought her the 1990 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series. The actress is also famous for her parts in the TV show Under the Dome and Intelligence and for her roles in the films Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She is the fourth of her parents' children. McCain graduated from the Phoenix Country Day School as well as Xavier College Preparatory, a private Catholic girls' only high school. She graduated in 2007 with an undergraduate degree in Art Historical Studies at Columbia University. In 2017, she was a co-host of the daytime program The View, which she as host from 2021 to 2021. In recognition of her efforts, she got four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. McCain's other responsibilities include being an Daily Mail columnist after her period of three years on The View.
